Widyatama Management Students Present Financial Projects to Banking Practitioners in Coursework Assignment Review

The Undergraduate Management Study Program of Widyatama University continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering relevant and impactful learning through the Coursework Assignment Review activity in the Financial Management Project Course.

This activity is part of the spirit of the Road to Silver Anniversary – Lustrum V Widyatama University, reflecting the program’s dedication to implementing collaborative and industry-oriented learning experiences.

Through a Project-Based Learning approach, students develop financial analysis and planning projects which are then presented directly to industry practitioners. During the session, students not only present their project outcomes but also receive constructive feedback and professional insights from banking practitioners with real-world experience.

The Coursework Assignment Review featured external reviewers from Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) who provided practical perspectives on the application of financial management in the banking industry. The reviewers included Ganjar Mahesha Gledek, Business Team Leader of BNI Bandung Branch Office, along with Rendi Rizaldi and Luthfi Salman Alfarizi from the Productive Credit Team of BNI Perintis Kemerdekaan Branch in Bandung.

Through interactive discussions and feedback sessions, students gained deeper insights into how financial management concepts are implemented in real business environments and decision-making processes within the banking sector. This interaction offers valuable experiential learning, enabling students to better understand industry expectations regarding financial analysis, financing proposals, and business feasibility assessment.

Appreciation is also extended to Hj. Tanti Irawati M., S.E., M.M., QIA, the Course Coordinator for the Financial Management Project Course, for her dedication and coordination in facilitating a learning process that aligns with industry needs.

This activity represents a concrete step by the Widyatama Management Study Program in strengthening an adaptive and practice-oriented learning ecosystem. By involving industry practitioners directly in the evaluation process, students are expected to develop professional competencies that are relevant to the evolving demands of the job market.

As Widyatama University moves toward its 25th anniversary milestone, this initiative reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to producing competent, adaptive, and globally competitive graduates.
